Following significant investment, we are proud to announce the acquisition of the processing site at Great Tew Quarry, Oxfordshire. This strategic move allows us to operate directly at the source, dramatically reducing our carbon footprint. The Great Tew site operates with 5 highly energy-efficient wire saws, with plans already underway to expand further — including the addition of a 6th wire saw and the introduction of advanced CNC machinery. These modern machines not only improve efficiency but also offer quieter, more sustainable operations.
The expertise and experience gained through Goode Stone Supplies Ltd will play a vital role in establishing and running this new facility to the highest standards. We’ve already placed orders for a new JCB 360 and telehandler for the site, and we are actively exploring the use of electric forklifts across our fleet to further support our environmental goals.
