We are the only company processing walling stone onsite at Great Tew Quarry, Oxfordshire, the only operational Ironstone quarry in the UK. Our location enables us to offer a uniquely sustainable supply of natural stone. With minimal transport required, our on-site productions significantly reduce emissions — making us a greener choice for your building projects.

Thanks to our 7 Grani Roc wire saws, 2 large primary circular saws, 5 state of the art 5 axis CNC machines and 2 automated cropping lines, Great Tew Stone Ltd can efficiently produce large volumes of natural building stone. We take pride in delivering top-quality products that consistently meet strict building tolerances.
We can comfortably fulfill any projects of any size.
Coursed building stone
Coursed building stone set at heights of 140mm, 115mm, 90mm & 65mm. Bespoke sizes are available on request.
2nds/ random building stone
Coursed building stone that does not meet our building tolerances is bagged and is a great option for extensions and garden walls.

A distinctive and highly sought-after rich brown limestone, with subtle blue/brown veining. This ironstone originates from Rutland, through Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, Oxfordshire, into Gloucestershire.
Our Ironstone walling and building stone is extracted from Great Tew Quarry and processed onsite to produce stone suitable for: coursed building stone, random walling stone and rubble walling stone.
